Tuatara summons your senses
Tuatara's Temple of Taste brewpub is releasing a series six of beers emphasising six key tastes - sweet, sour, salty, bitter, umami, and (just for luck) bready. A different beer has been brewed to profile each flavour - including a crab bisque-infused APA (umami!), a chocolate milk stout (sweet!), and a blueberry muffin-inspired wheat beer (bready!). The Summon Your Senses beers were brewed by Carl Vasta and the Tuatara team at Third Eye, and will be released together as a tasteful tap takeover. Available from 25 March at Third Eye, coming later to The Lumsden, Craft Hamilton, Dodson St Beer Garden, Volstead and Smiths Craft Beer House.
New releases
Sunshine Brewery Good Riddance Gose (5.5%) - Grapefruit Zest, Himalayan Rock Salt and Nelson Sauvin Cone Hops added to the Boil, and Pink Grapefruit Juice in Ferment. Tart, Fruity, Salty, and Refreshing.
